GM recalls 1.5M vehicles

No. 1 automaker says recall includes almost 1M SUVs because of tail lights that can loosen, flicker.

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. has recalled nearly 1.5 million vehicles in North America, including 946,817 sport utility vehicles, to fix tail lights that could loosen and flicker, the automaker said Thursday.

 

GM, the world's largest automaker, has recalled a total of 10.47 million vehicles in North America this year through the end of October, spokesman Alan Adler said.

This was suppose to affect only the Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Rainier and clones.
