Coolant Flush Instructions

Hey -- Does anyone have any kind of detailed coolant flush instructions? I have a 2000 GMC Yukon with 73K miles on it and I want to do a coolant flush soon. I've never done this before on any vehicle, so I'm looking for any advice (or, better yet, directions) for doing this job.

 

Also, a list of tools/supplies that I'd need to do the job would be helpful. If anyone has put together some kind of instructions for doing a coolant flush on these trucks, please let me know. Or, if anyone is good at this and is inclined to put together detailed instructions for everyone on here, that would be great, too!

 

Oh yeah -- is it also a good idea to change the thermostat at the same time?

Go to Wally-World and buy a coolant flush kit. It comes with all the needed T-Adapters and good instructions. Remember to run some cleaner thru the system before the final fill.
