295/75/16 tires

[hunting Z71]

i have a 01 Z and i am going to get a 3" body lift and i was wondering if 295/75/16 tires would fit on factory rims or would i have to get bigger rims? if i would need to get bigger rims i would probably not and i know that 285's will fit on the factory wheels so i would get that. i am basically looking for as big of tire as i can get without having to buy new rims due toi cost. i also have a grille guard, so would i have to make some modifications to where it would fit and look like it does normally?

Hey, I have three buddies two run 295s on the factory rims even have one buddy running 315/75 on the factory rim SO with that lift I would go to 315s they are an awesome looking tire. I am going with 295s with just the torsion bars turned up. My buddy with the 315 has the same setup with me but does experience rubbing in tighter turns. Good Luck!

You can go up to 315s. They fit but the center of the tire will bulge out more than normal. Be careful with the air pressure if you put 295s or up on the stock wheels or they may wear in the center faster than the edges.
