Kodachrome Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Wow, I haven't been a newb on a forum for a while. Hello to you all, my name is Brady. I am a 19 year old mechanical engineering student at the University of Maryland. I drive a '98 Camaro that I hope some of you could help me with. The 3.8L of fury it hides under the hood has grown boring for me, it's time to swap or sell. The problem with selling is not only would I not get squat for my used car, 6 speed LS1's are hard to find with low miles and a nice price tag, not to mention the whole hassle of selling my car. I also really like the looks of my car and just about everything but the engine. I've decided it would problably be cheaper/unique to swap in a LM7 or LQ4, I'm here to do research on both. One advantage of both engines is the iron block as opposed to aluminum - if I get this engine in with no problems phase II will be forced induction.
