I HAVE HAD A MISFIRE PROBLEM FOR A WHILE NOW BUT THIS MORNING IT WAS VERY COLD AND WHEN I WHEN I WENT TO START THE YUKON THERE WAS THIS DROANING TYPE NOISE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. SET A P1345. THE NOISE SOUNDED LIKE IT MAY BE FROM THE POWER BRAKE BOOSTER. POSSIBLE VACUUM LEAK THAT GETS WORSE WITH TEMPERATURE CHANGE????

P1345 usually means your distributor is not set correctly. Get the engine to TDC on cylinder #1 on the compression stroke. Remove distributor cap and see if the rotor is pointing to a "V" shaped pointer with a number 8 on it. If it isn't pointing at the 8 turn the distributor so it does. http://www.mhtc.net/~jbomkamp/distributor.gif

 

If you have a good scan tool, you can fine tune it. You have to find the cam retard or camshaft offset value with the engine running(have to rev over 1200 rpms or so for the value to update). Get the value to 0 degrees +/- 2 degrees. If the offset is negative, turn the distributor counterclockwise and if its positive turn it clockwise
