Chevy Colorado lift kits?

Does anyone make a high quality 6" lift kit for the Colorado 4x4 Z71 yet?

Are there ANY lift kits yet? I cant seem to find anything online....

Nope. Their is a 3" lift for the 2wd non Z71, but that's it.

Takes about a year or two for someone to make a lift kit after a new truck is produced. I'm sure someone like BDS or Superlift has a Colorado/Canyon in there shop getting fabbed up for a lift.

There is one issue is that the rack and pinion steering limits the amount of lift it can have.

I'd go ahead and buy the truck if you can. That way it will be broken in by the time a lift is out on the market.

Check this link out. There is a company thats looking into it right now and had a prototype at SEMA I believe. Anyway all the info available up to this point is there.

The colorado's have height im sure they can fit 33's with 15's, i meet a guy beside me at a gas station who had a crew cab colorado and he had some MT rims and 32's on his and it had enough gap for them also.

is it a torsion bar front end?

how about cranking those up and maybe blocks in the rear from a s-10?

it'd look better and be easier than 2" body lift..

Thats what some are doing to run 32's.. You cannot run 33x12.5r-15's without an additional lift for the Colorado.(and you use shackles to lift the rear)

what shackles is everyone using?

i have a friend who just purchased an 04 colorado and wants to put on 33's.. he's getting a 3" body lift, but id like to crank the torsion bars and put on the shackles too for some more clearance
