I got to get up early to go shopping :seeya: Took my brother to work then went to sears. It was a zoo. Only thing I picked up was a set of metric and std gearwrench ratcheting wrenches. They were 50% off ($24.99 a set). Earlier this week I picked up a 27 inch sony tv and a sony dvd player so I could beat the rush.

What did you all get?

I usuall just say NO to shopping today. However, this morning I ordered a couple books for my wife online to pick up at our local Borders. I may try to sneak in early this evening.

It started off harmless with a trip to Toys R Us. got there at 5:15 got the game boy advanced for my kid. i then went to Sears got a Cordless Drill/Driver 29.99 Reg. $79.00. I then made the mistake and went to HHgregg. They had a Mitsubishi 65 inch for $1799.00. I was more or less curious i had 45 minutes to kill be fore make my trek in to Summit. Well talking to the guy he stated that they were out of stock already but would upgrade to the next better Tv. Needless to say Im now a proud owner of a 65 inch big screen, being deliverd on Tuesday. The kicker is now i need to break it to my wife and get rid of the Mits 48 inch.

My mom braved the line at one of our local Best Buy locations. She was getting an item for my father and we had discussed something for me. She picked up a Western Digital 160 GB 8 MB cache internal HD for me. I'm paying for it, but it was $30 plus tax after rebates. Can't beat THAT price...

I went out to Borders in Brighton last night about 6:30 - 7:00 and the line was pretty short. The parking lots at Target, restaurants, and the movie theatre were packed, though. I drove around a bit and saw that the Howell Wal-Mart and Meijer parking lots looked fairly normal, but there was a Christmas parade at the same time downtown.
