When I hit a speed bump or pot hole here in NYC I get a metal on metal sound from drivers side front wheel I was under truck two hours looking for it cant fiqure it out I have an appt with dealer in two weeks ,but want to make sure I m not damaging anything. 5,000 miles MAC NYC

Difficult to say, I had a car once that had a metal to metal sound that was in the front turned out I found a shock absorber bushing blew out and that was the noise I had.
