help me wire 2004 tailights on my 99!

Hey guys, help me! the 99 sockets don't fit the 04 lenses..... what do i do now?? nobody local (including stealership) has the 04 sockets available yet....

rotate your sockets around a little and you will see where they are close to fitting. You will have to open up the tab openings a little on the lens and can easily be done with a pocket knife. You can go to AutoZone and pick up a couple license plate sockets and some 194 bulds and use a couple quick connects to add the 4th lights if you want. Might cost you $10 and 10 min extra!

i really appreciate that, i've been thinking about taking a knife to it for a couple days but wasn't sure if i really wanted to go that route.

 

my buddy actually through in the socket for the bottom small light when he gave me these lenses too so i think i can just wire them into the normal parking light or something....
