Spark Plug Suggestions

Anyone have a favorite spark plug? I have some new wires and I figure that I may as well replace the plugs while i am in there. I've got an 01 Sierra with the 5.3 and stock programming. I'd love to hear what anyone has to say.

I've heard some say go with the stock plugs, others have suggested NGK TR55 coppers. I went with the NGK's in my Rado twice, good results so far.

Don't use stock plugs, use tr55's. Stock plugs have a platnum tip glued to the end that tends to fall off. I'm using tr55ir, which is the iridium plug by ngk. Well, only have one side done, haven't had time to finish. They cost a small fortune though, I got 6 for free and it cost me $15 to buy 2 more. :fume: I figured as little time as I have to work on my own car it would still have been worth it if I had to buy all 8 since they should last about 3 times longer that the regular tr55's.

I got the NGK TR55s and JBA wires. The truck runs so smooth now and seems to rev a little quicker. With 70,000 miles, I guess she is just getting broken in  . Thanks for all the input. :)
