Deer Season

How did everyone do this deer season? I took a buck and a doe. I also have one more question. How did your food plots do? The deer stayed away from the food plots I hunt(I hunt in 2 different parts of the state). At both locations the deer seemed to stay away. I know there were alot more acorns then last year. Anyway, I just wanted to see if y'all ran into this situation.

11 pt with 20" inside and 2 does, All during rifle season. I saw 7 bucks the last week of archery season 5 were shooters, 4 points to a side or better.

3 doe's with the bow 2 doe's with the shotgun and a 7 pt with the shotgun this year. Was a slow year for me! Here is the 7 bastard almost made it into the Deleware river!! Where I am with him is where he died! both lungs, heart, and broken leg and went over 100 yards ( all downhill) in the canal and out and died on the imbankment for the river! Almost lost em!

I only had time to go 4 or 5 times this year. It was a busy time, and the season went by fast. Dove season also cuts into it for a few weeks.

Two bucks by bow and two does by rifle. With the season over it's time to sit back and enjoy the harvest.....and start planning for next year, clean up the gear, acquire new gear (bow), cut some new shooting lanes, shed hunt, new camera placements, spring turkey. Aint it great!
