Soon to leave warranty

Warranty for my truck ends in about two months. So I want to get everything done that ought to be done.

 

'02 ex. cab 4x4 1500.

 

So far I’ve scheduled work on these items:

 

1). Parking Brake TSB - Brakes - Scraping Noises From Rear of Vehicle - Bulletin No.: 02-05-26-002A.

Been having the scraping sound for about the last 1K miles or so.

 

2). Intermediate Steering Shaft TSB – Bulletin No.: 00-02-35-003E.

Took it in for the lube about 6 months ago, but naturally the steering rumble came back. This TSB is for the new, replacement steering shaft.

 

Anything else I ought to consider?

Get any annoying thing fixed. You might want to think about the radio, they can go out after a while.

Good idea. But dealerships don't typically fix things that ain't broken just in case it might go out later.
