Body Control Module Location

I have a 99 2-door Tahoe LS 4WD, and have been going through my shop manual. One of the functions that does not work is the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) that allows the use of accessories (radio, windows) for a period of time after the ignition is switched off. Mine does not work. In looking at the shop manuals, I can only find the location of the Body Control Module (BCM) listed as "in the console" (luxury models) This is true for the Denali and Escalade, but I don't think so for my Tahoe. I have not pulled it apart, but doubt there is anything electrical going in my console, not even a light. Anyone have any idea of where the BCM is so I can attempt to figure this out?

Thanks, folks!

OBS Tahoes don't have a BCM

only the OBS Denali and Esclade

The reason your retained accessory power function doesn't work is because it doesn't exist on OBS trucks and SUVs (excluding the Esclade/Denali)

I added it to my 99 Tahoe with a simple relay system.

PM me if you would like details.
