NBS 3" lift for 4x4s

Did anybody see this month's Off-road Magazine? They have a small ad on one of the pages advetising a 3" knuckle lift from Skyjacker for NBS 4x4s. Does anybody have any info on this kit.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I hope it's not a miss print. There's nothing on Skyjacker's website yet.

Any news on that lift? I'm interedsted in knowing if they use a T-bar relocation setup, like all the other lifts, which leave that cross member dragging down . I'm hoping that maybe with only 3 inches you don't need to drop down both ends of the torsion bars. I would be tickled if that's how it works. I could get that kit, then get maybe 1.5 inches out of t-bar cranking, because I would like to be somewere around 4.5 to 5 inches over stock height, without killing my breakover angle by dropping stuff down.

I called Skyjacker today and it was pretty much a waste of time. The only question the guy on the phone was able to answer was that it's not in production yet. I asked him if he could put me on the phone with somebody who knew anything about it and I got forwarded to voice mail. I'm going to try again tomorrow.

I'm curious what the minimum backspacing requirement is, how much they drop the front differential in comparison to the lower a-arms, and if you have to cut out the crossmember by the front differential.

That Escalade looks like a$$ with those rubber bands for tires.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

I called Skyjacker and got the same response that is was not in production yet. He did say that it should be in the stores by the end of Feb. He also told me it was going to be very simular to the 6" kit and that you will be able to put the truck back to stock if you wanted. If the price is right I see this kit in my future.

whats a "knuckle lift"?

A knuckle lift is lifting the truck by lowering the lower control arms but leaving the upper control arms in the stock position. Then putting a taller steering knucle in place of the stock one to take up the added space.

Her's the new skyjacker kit. Supposed to be availible i a month or so.

I sure hope thats a picture of the Tahoe/Suburban lift. What the heck is that spacer for.

I saw in 4Wheel magazine, they have the kit priced a little over $1000.
