I am a big chevy fan and like to shop around for parts and trucks I feel are a great package. I do most of my browsing on ebay and came across a 1988 c1500 pickup. Let's see, I can't license it because it's got an earlier model engine swapped into it and a carb where the TBI belongs. It's supposedly from NC, but it has rusted cab corners. poorly repaired, just like any other truck from the rust belt. Oh, and the seller only has 1 feedback as a seller, and it was negative.

 

Add to that that I was directed to it by a first time poster who just wants to tell me about a good deal he just happened to "come across"

 

I think I'll pass.

The engine looks good but I don't know if an 80,000 mile engine is worth 2 grand. Maybe you should just take it to one of the Kia dealership and let them give you the minimum 2500 trade in value?
