Avalanche not keeping time

Every time I get in my truck I have to re-set my clock! I know people were talking about the display "flickering" but do I have a possible "power" problem? Wonder if my battery rundown system is "taking-over" my truck?

Anyone have a similiar problem?

I'd say check your battery connections to make sure they are on there all the way. I believe you need a 7mm socket and a 1/4" ratchet fits back there nicely. If those are good pull out your radio and check the back for loose wires. It may just be a loose wire. If that doesn't work take it to the dealer, might as well use the warranty

That doesn't seem normal - I would get the dealer to fix quickly.

I read of a guy having this same problem on his 2500HD on another forum awhile back. I will try and find it for you (it had a TSB I believe), but the only way to correct it is to have the dealer replace your radio.
