Yeah buddy. That's what I'm talking about!

Gordon won it, but other than that it was a GREAT race. Especially the last 30 laps.

2 big crashes, 1 car flips (how about that nose-spin by Wimmer?)= I'm happy.

That's how they all shoud be IMO.

I was happy. I won $175 because Gordon and Busch finished 1-2. I would have been happier if Jr. had won and Gordon and Busch finished 2-3. I would have still won $100. :withstupid:

On a side note, did anybody see Jeanie Zelasko interview Matthew Mchaunaghey (SP?) during the pre-race show?

Was it just me or did he look (from his behaviour standpoint) stoned? :withstupid:

The race started out slow, but the end made up for it. The best part is 24 is my favorite and he won  I about fell out of the chair when he went around Jr. Didn't expect to see that.

I felt bad for Michael too. I have my favorite, but still like to see some of these other drivers win some too. I was hoping if 24 didn't get it, than Mark Martin or Rusty would, being their last year I know they really wanted to win. Either way, I'm happy for Jeff. :withstupid:

Besides..........it's a chevy that won :nono:

Even though my man (Jr.) didn't win,I'm sure glad it was an exciting race at the end and didn't turn out to be a boring one.

And at least a Chevy won :withstupid:

I thought the race was really good too; not as good as the 150's but interesting. I knew Stewart wasn't going to win, but I'm glad Gordon won. It's amazing to me how Jr. comes from nowhere with 10 to go and almost wins it. It's truly amazing to watch only Gordon, Stewart and JR. make single car passes without any help; those teams have set the bar high for restrictor plate competition.

I will agree it was a great race, till the last 3 laps. Man, I just have a hard time with Gordon. Thought Jr. would pull it out....silt milk. Still a long season.

Yes, I think Matthew was on something. When he was talking me and my guest were saying the same thing. Maybe he was celebrating the introduction of liquor to NASCAR.

Not just the interview, he sounded drunk with that "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT" he did before giving the command.

Jimmie Johnson didn't make too many friends during speedweeks this year.

:( Just waitin' for better things in California

I really don't like restrictor plate racing at all. For the past five years I've had no less than 5 or 6 offers each year to go to Daytona or Talledega. Since I live in the FL Panhandle, both are fairly close. I can't for the life of me understand the attraction. I did go to Daytona once to see the Dash cars. The track is just so big that you can't see everything and enjoy the race.

I could probably be persuaded to see the Trucks if it didn't come so close to my wife's birthday.
