Upper Control Arm Bushing R&R

Anyone know book time for Upper control arm bushings on a 96 C3500 Dually? I had a shop charge me almost 2 hours for ONE side of the truck. I could see it for both sides, but one side? Thanks in advance.

just looked it up on alldata 1.6 hrs plus alignment. now at my shop which is up north in salt country we add .4 for every hour for rusty bolts ect. so it would be approx. 2.3 hours @ 75.00 per hour plus alignment one side, no fun either. if you are in a climate that doesnt support lots of rust i would say 1.5 hours would be lots of time. hope this helps...

Thats about right unfortunately. I just went through this on my 3500. Those bushings are a pita to change.

alldata is a shop program like a computrized repair manual and time book for import and domestic vehicles its is purchased, and then a monthly fee for updates of the program. that was for one side by the way hope that helps
