Polxc5,

The dealer I bought mine from had a 2001 6.0L 4x4 crewecab short bed LS model last time I was there.  I'm an hour north of Pgh.  It's forest green...

I can look into it for you if you want...

I checked with my dealer today and the green one is gone.  He still has the black one though.

A dealer on GMBuypower about 5 miles north of where the turnpike and I-79 intersect has a carmine red one.  There is an indigo blue one up by me and a couple of pewter ones too...

Let me know if you want any more info...

Speaking of GM buypower:

 I used the buypower site to purchase my daughters Sonoma.  I was really pleased with the way it worked out.

I do have one beef though:  After negotiating the price, I sprang the "recent college graduate" discount on em.

{I completed my Master's Degree almost 2 yrs ago}

Anyhow...that was an incentive that knocked another $400 off of the price....cool deal right?   WRONG!  In order to 'qualify' for this discount you HAD to finance with GMAC.

That's right...if you pay cash you don't get the discount.

So I financed with GMAC.  No big deal right?  Except that every bank within 100 miles would finance me at 6.3%...anybody wanna know what GMAC's best rate was?

7.95%.  Figure out the difference in a $10K loan?  You got it...

$396 over the life of the loan.

I feel like I got cheated!   Has anybody ever seen GMAC "match" the rates at a local bank?  I think they have done it for me before.
