Hi folks,

I've been away for spring break and away from the 'net but I got a lotta gut work done on one of dad's tractors~ 1456 farmall's rear end.....

anyways, my truck has developed a pull to the right and a steering wheel shake so i decided to get rid of the front tires. $160 bought me a pair of wild country radial XRT's 31x10.50 r15LT. put those on the rear and moved the old rears up to the front.

Once up on the platform the tire guys pointed out a loose ball joint... inner tie-rod end. They said they'd replace it with napa parts for $120.... i said i'll take it home and look at it, haha!

When i left the tire shop with a loose joint, the truck drove like a dream. I figured one of my old fronts was developing a buldge or bad balance and aggrivating the tie-rod. I took the impact gun from home and got another thread on the nut that holds the ball joint in its taper~ No wobble in the steering whatsoever, so I guess I'm lucky.

Going from 30x9.50's to 31x10.50's look really good on a half-ton obs~
