Intermittent wipers?

Hi;

The intermittent wipers on my 99 nbs Silverado are not functioning. When I turn the switch to the first three clicks the wipers will cycle once and thats it. If I turn another click on the control they work ok. Low, high and mist all work ok. Any help is greatly appreciated.
