HELP............ I have a 2004 Tahoe and I put 20" silverado SS wheels on it. I'm guessing that the guy I purchased the wheels and tires from took out the sensors because now my "Service Air Pressure Sensor" light comes on. I read the manual and tried to program the sensors but it didn't work. Can I put the sensors on these wheels? If so does anybody have a part number and a price for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Silverado didn't come with tire pressure monitoring that I know of. So, the sensors most likely will not fit in those wheels.

I'm told the 04 & the 05 had them but I guess they could be wrong. Any idea why the ones from the Z71 wheel won't work on the 20" wheel? Thanks for the help!

Never seen it on a Silverado, so I looked up service information on it before putting my foot in my mouth. :banghead: There is nothing listed for TPM on the '04 Silverado. I didn't look at '05.

The only way you're going to find out is to try it and see if they fit.

OK, well, next question then.... Is there any way to disable the TPM monitoring system on my Tahoe? Thanks for your help.
