On the radio yesterday, I heard an advertisement for an exhaust shop called:

"Muffs and Tails"

I thought it was kinda funny.

One of the local, home-owned, septic suckers has the following (hand-lettered) motto on his rusty old truck:

"You dump - we pump".

My kids think it's funny anyway.

There's an exhaust shop in the town where I went to college called "The Muff Doctor".

Next door they had a radiator shop, that said "Starkville Radiator Repair, The best place in town to take a leak."

I thought those were pretty funny at the time.

This family's last name is actually Assman, also have a cattle herd they advertise as Assman Angus and Charolais.

There's a Crab Shack/Seafood Restaurant in OBX, NC called Dirty Dick's.

Another restaurant/Bar in OBX, I forget the actual name of the joint (Perhaps TMF or another OBX member can assist me), But it's slogan is posted in big white letters across the front of the building: "EAT AND GET THE HELL OUT!"

We have a used car dealer in town called 'Weird Wally's". He has huge orange billboards that scream "THIS IS WEIRD COUNTRY" for six blocks all around his shop. He used to advertise a lot more, stuff like "Come on in to Weird Wally's this week and with every car purchased get a free Weird Wally frisbee. That way you'll have something to do until the tow truck comes..."

BTW, I bought my first Suburban from him back in 1984, a '73 2wd that was a retired school bus...

We have a used car dealership in Boise, ID called "Fairly Reliable Bob's". Interesting thing is, they're the best place in the state to get a Corvette. They specialize in classics and 'Vette's.
