Guys, I just posted another pic with the front of my HD painted, but before the Billet Bowtie. Just trying to keep my mind off the tragedy at least for a minute or two.

did you paint the bumper caps yourself or have some one do it for you???  They look really pretty nice!!!

Parts were taken to a local body shop, same one that did my 99 Z-71, had those for 2 years with no problems.

can I ask you how much it cost??? I just ordered a set of Husky Flaps that I want painted too...

For the 2 bumper caps and grill and me removing and installing ?, but well worth it since if it chips or flakes its on them. :biggrin:

it's good to hear they stand behind their work...  do you know if they put any epoxy or anything else under it??? I want to paint my "Husky" flaps when I get them next week...  Maybe I should pop off the bumper cap and give all of the stuff to my local body shop and have them paint everything...

Looks really good, much better then the black it was before.  Maybe GM should have an option for the trucks come from the factory like that....
