I made one for my ranger about three weeks ago. I'm just glad that I never had to put the 29" stock spare tire on there. I like how the hitches bolt to it. pretty slick. looks good. Mr. :chevy: gives it a big :jester: . Ain't nothing but comfort.

I like it very cool how you combined a trailer hitch storage in the back. Only flaw I see is the loss of bed space...Nice work.

one thing I would do is see if you could drill a hole in the threaded bar coming through the middle of the rim so you can put a lock on that instead of having to run a cable around it. But that's up to you. :jester:

That was part of my original design. I am still thinking about it. To put a big enough lock the all-thread would be thin. A small lock can be popped with a hammer. Of course the 2 cable locks can be cut just as easy. I guess it's just a matter of keeping an honest man honest. If sombody really want's it or the truck for that matter they will get it.

Bgdsub72, Yeah it does kill some of the bed. Although it it high enough to allow some bed use. I have a trailer for the ATV'S and any other small jobs. Groceries still fit.
