2002 GMC Sierra stock cd player to 2001 Cavalier

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra stock cd player and wanted to put it in my friend's 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier that has the stock tape deck. I was wondering if this was possible, and if any of you knew of a place with directions for disassembling the dash to do it in the Cavalier. Thanks a lot and have a good day! Sorry that it involves a car and not a full size truck, but I thought you all might know anyway since it was a Chevy. I tried the search option but could not find anything about it. Let me know if you have any more questions about information I forgot to provide.
