I bet the military trim will be available in a consumer type package........but if not look at the OBS trucks and blazers you can get that are Gov surplus. M85 or something like that.......I don't think I would want an IRS just because of the weakness in CV joints and stuff....maybe I'm just not up on all the improvements???

On the other hand that baby would ride so smooth over bumps....I'd never have to listen to Dodge complain again about the horrible ride back in the trailer for the last 100 miles of dirt road..... :P

those CV joints are pretty beefy, not to mention those hummers have geared hubs, im sure that doesnt do wonders for the strenth of the whole unit but it looks like that military trim 2500hd has a full floater, my friend picked up a surplus 1986 4 door open top hummer with bias ply's and that hting wont do 50 but itll do 49 over anything

anywho, the "military" trim seems to just be lifted a tad with some larger tires, probably 4.56 gears because they dont really care about gas mileage either way and quite a lot of body armor
