Strobe lights

Hey guys, I am not sure if this is the right area to put this, but I am looking to add 4 strobes in my truck (2 front 2 back) I think it would look cool and who knows it might come in handy some day haha. I know Whelen is some good stuff but it is quite expensive, I want something that is pretty bright but fairly inexpensive if possible. Do you guys have any suggestions? Please don't reccomend the cheapo ricer ones that you can get at like checker and other stores lol.

theres a place online (can't remember the name right now will post if I remember) whare you can get the stobe for police cars. I have friends that have owned GTP pace cars and they used the wheelin strobe kit. you can also find them at www.strobesandmore.com

Add a "favorite search" to your "my ebay" that searches for "whelen strobe". Check it every week. That way you can learn about what's available, and what people use them for.

 

From what I've seen on ebay, I'd say that 70% of whelen's customers are in law enforcement, with the other 30% in FD's and emergency vehicles.

 

I got a used but mint condition whelen edge mini strobe on ebay for about $200. Contains 4 "corner" strobes, plus the required power supply and sequencer.

 

I don't think my corner strobes would adapt very well to mounting in the grill and or tail lights, though.

 

I've seen whelen strobes which are specifically designed for grille/back window mounting, on ebay.
