Over 10' wide, and about 14' tall, and I have no idea what it weighs.

 

A quarter of the way across the state. Truck was not a happy camper...But did fine, and pulled at about 7 mpg.

No, a good portion of it was steel, and the entire trailer was steel.

 

I know it was well over 7k lbs...Probably 8. The truck sure as hell didn't want to stop.

 

It's probably 20-30 years old. My buddy is restoring it for a friend of his, but his truck started spitting tranny fluid out the dipstick about 20 miles out of town, so he called me.

 

Had to go get a freakin' permit just to hook up to it.

That can't be healthy. What, pray tell, was he using for a tow vehicle that made the gearbox juice puke up through the dipstick tube?

He has the 4.8, tall gears, and oversized tires though.
