Help Identify Part on truck

trying to figure out what this tube is sticking out from under my truck.

Just wondering if anyone knew...

Looks like a vent tube for the transfer case. I would think it should be secured a little higher up though.

I was thinking the same thing,and yes,it needs to be up higher,it definetly fell down,Its supposed to be secured up in the transmission tunnel of the floorboard,kind of overtop of the transfer case facing towards the rear of the truck.
