First fillup

Even thought it was just below a half tank, I was at QT so I filled it up. It took 15.010 gallons of fuel to travel 188 miles, for 12.5 mpg.

That is almost all in town driving, and short trips (<15 miles).

The truck is a 6L / A4 / 4.10 all stock, and new.

Not bad. That is about what I got stock. Then I got a custom tune and couldnt keep my foot out of the loud pedal! Been down hill ever since. LOL

Just made the trip from SW PA to Detoilet, drove 65-70 all the way with the AC on. Went 320 miles before I filled up. Got 15+ MPG. Same truck as yours I think--05 2500HD Ext Cab 6.0L / 4L80E. Currently have 8000 miles on the truck.

I even have 285/75-16 Toyo's on it. I had read other posts about oversized tires killing your mpg. I think not!

Just took the camper on the first run with tune and got 8.81 mpg's running at 75/80 and got 10.43 on the way back with cruise set at 65

AH, Quicktrip... I miss those from Atlanta. I loved those stations! The employees were always nice there.

They will kill your in town mileage. Your highway mileage should get better with oversize tires, assuming they are not so wide that they stick out far beyond the fenders.
