Radio for 02 HD ??

Does anyone know if a CD/Radio from a 2005 Silverado will fit my 2002 HD???

If so, does anyone have any part numbers for the 2004 or 2005 radios that were in those model year Silverados. Any info would be greatly appriciated!!!!

I don't think it will,The electrical system was changed in '03 (To I believe what is called "CLASS II") and the radio has to be programmed for the truck.

We have tried to reprogram the newer radios into '02 and older trucks with no luck.

If anyone has a way of doing it they will post it here I'm sure.

It won't even fit in the dash. So unless you want to do some major mods to the dash, the electrical side is irrelevant.

Thanks for the info. I figured that it wouldn't. The newer radios seem to be better than the one that is in my 02. Thanks anyway
