Front Lockers

I will be running 35/12.5/R16's on a 2001 2500HD. I am either going with an ARB locker in the front or ?.

 

Anybody have first hand experience with a front locker?

Big difference in on-road steering?

 

Randy's Ring and pinion recommended a Trac-tech gearless, any thoughts?

Last I knew, no one made a front locker for C/K's.  So I doubt anyone makes one for a Silverado, let alone a HD.  Or has that changed with in the last year?

list a bunch of front applications for the Lock-right locker for the IFS fronts.

 

I'm sure I've got a 9.5" front ring gear and a 11.5" rear ring gear. I'll have to give them a call .

are they air lockers? automatic lockers? or just always locked so street driving will be crap?

ARB is the only manufacturer who has a locker for the GM 3/4 ton and 1 ton front differential.  They are near completion of the front locker for the 8.25" 1/2 ton IFS Front Differential.  There is hope for us after all, but it will be expensive.
