Has any one ever remove those labels on the sun visors? I want to remove mine, it appears that can be removed but I need to know how and more importantly, how not to leave any lasting damage :notice: My Webpage

Ah yes, the airbag warning labels I think.  I peeled mine off, but it was very difficult!  I used a hairdryer to try and soften the adhesive, but it didn’t help much.  Label came off in pieces.  Real pain in the ***, and I don't know how it could be done better

Half the adhesive came off with the labels and half stayed on the visor.  Even where the adhesive came off, it left the visor material kind of fuzzy.  Bottom line is that it don’t look so good.  When my wife noticed it and asked what happened, I got one of those looks!  I am now looking for some kind of stickers or something to cover where the labels used to be.  I’m sure I can get something that will look better than those warning labels did.  I wish I had just covered them in the first place.  Any suggestions?

Peel off what you can and buy some Goof Off Citrus Remover.  If you buy the regular goo off it can harm some plastics and vinyls.  Get the Citrus kind which is made for that.  Rub that on the sticky stuff that didn't come off and it should take care of it.

I had thought about using some type of solvent to remove the remaining adhesive but I'm afraid that the adhesive and solvent will soak into the visor and make a bigger mess.  It's covered with some sort of a felt like material.  As mentioned before, even where the adhesive peeled off it pulled the nap up, so I don't know which areas actually look worse.

It may be time to cut my losses.  Maybe a GM-TC sticker on the visor?

Don't know how helpful this will be. I peeled these stickers off my Silverado but the location on the visor was plastic not the felt-like material portion you mentioned the Avalanche has. The remaining residue from the adhesive I used a product called "Lift-Off" it worked very well and advertises not to damage paint or plastic don't know if it would stain cloth material.
