95' SIERRA A/C FILTER?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if there is a cabin or air intake filter on a 95' full size GMC? My a/c is pretty weak even though its' got a full charge.

Thanks,

There is not a filter, but I replaced my blower fan last week on my 98 and noticed alot of mud on my condenser or whatever you call the AC thing in the duct work.

I suppose it condenses and causes moisture buildup and collects dust which turned to mud. You might check it out. I just pulled as much mud and dirt as I could without removing it.

Didn't notice any difference in the AC but the new fan doesn't squeak like the old one.

That's right, thats exactly what happens. That's why they added the cabin air filter in '99. I used to use brake cleaner to rinse it off, but that makes a mess. Now I just use water and a DULL peice of pastic to carefully remove the crap.
