Door Panel Removal

Just recently the window in the rear driver side door started to not go all the way back up. It will go about 85% of the way and stop. I was trying to remove the door panel so that I could take a look but am having the hardest time doing so. I'm trying not to break the door panel so if anyone has any guidance as to how to get it off I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also hoping that all I have to do is tighten some inside for the window to go back up or maybe that it came off track or something.

Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to Handle Bezel Replacement - Inside .

Remove the door trim panel upper extension. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension .

Using a suitable flat bladed tool, gently pry the manual lock lever from the door trim panel.

Remove the trim panel screws

- Remove the screw from within the opening where the manual door lock lever resides.

- Remove the screw from the opening in front of the armrest.

Carefully slide the trim panel up in order to release the retainers from the door.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

I do any trim work, so that's from our Service Information. Seems to me there's a screw that goes through the door panel on the bottom. That is, you'd have to get down on your hands and knees and look at the bottom edge of the panel to see it. Perhaps the '03 Tahoe doesn't have that because I don't see mention of it.
