All of you that have one, let us know your results. Tell us a little about your truck, what type of tune you went with and the results you are seeing? MPG increases? SOTP dyno increases and anything else you would like to share.

I am going to order one, I just want to see all the results grouped together for some analysis.

Thanks for posting!!

Being the non-mechanically inclined guy that I am, what is the install like on these? I wouldn't have thought about a tune mainly due to the price and all, but this is getting pretty darn tempting.

I just did my westers update install the other night. They are easy.

First locate PCM. Between Radiator and Battery on driver side.

Second Remove plastic cover - No tools neede just popps off

Third - Using 7mm socket unscrew the 2 7mm screws that hold the plugs on. There is one in the center of each plug.

Fourth - unplug the 2 plugs.

Fifth - Take metal spring clip loose on top of the PCM and pop PCM out.

Just reverse for install. Take 10 minutes first time. Probably < 5 minutes once you've done it one time.

Then you have to do the security relearn (usually). Pretty easy.

Try to start it. It will die.

Leave key on and do something else for 10 minutes (until security light goes out).

Shut key off for 20-30 seconds after the security light goes out.

Go back to the top and try to start again.

"start - leave key on until security light goes out - shut off 20-30 seconds and start over"

This is done 3 times. On the 4th time it should start. You are good to go.

Really only take a few minutes to swap then just need to go out every 10 minutes for 30 minutes and you are good to go.
