New Skins on the Z71

Hey guys,

Check out the 05 Avalanche wheels that I put on my 02 siverado. I got a deal on these things. $500 is all I have in them after I sold my factory wheels and tires and these tires have the 17" wheels and have less than 100 miles on them. Heck the tires still have the titties on them. Pics are on the link below. I couldn't get it to let me use the link to my pics to post it in the forum. Pictures are under the folder called MISC PICS. You all think they look better than the factory 16" aluminum wheels?

About a year too late. Sold that truck to buy this one i have now for the room of a family. Not to mention the money from Iraq last year helped to pay for it. It was a very sweet truck though. I miss it, especially when I see it around town.

To answer the question about whether I think they look better than the stock 16" wheels- definitely! In order of preference for styling (worst to best, but none really 'nasty'), I like:

 

16" alloys (similar to the standard Z71 wheel on 2004's)

17" 5 spoke alloy truck wheels (2004 upgrade wheel, 2005 standard on Z71's) <-- what I have

17" Avalanche wheels (like you've got now)

17" 2002(ish) Tahoe / Suburban Z71 alloys. <-- I'd LOVE a set of these for my truck.
