4.3 starting issues when hot

i have a 1994 gmc pickup with the v6 and when its up to running temp it wont restart unless you put the gas pedal all the way to the floor, when its cold it starts fine, any ideas? thanks for any help.

Leaking fuel pressure regulator. Hows it run once it starts hot?

once it starts it runs fine, its just getting it started thats is the problem. where is the regulator located on this engine ?

Inside the plenum. Usually when they leak, they make it very rich, that's why you'd have to hold the throttle wide open to start it. But I'd suspect it would run rough at least for a short time after starting.
