UPF 59 gm part number?

Any one have the gm part number for UPF59. I know there has been some discussion about AC delco discontinuing them, but I thought I'd try to get a few before they stop production.

Is this the PF-59 oil filter?? I get them at Wal-Mart. I haven't heard anything about them being discontinued.

Naw, thats what I'm using now. The UPF is a better filter.

I've been getting them (UPF 59) from Full Service Auto Parts which carries the complete AC Delco line (filters, sensors, etc.) at about $7.00. They have been on backorder for some time and I had heard on various BB that AC delco was discontinuing them due to lack of demand.

2001HD If you do find any could you let me know. I din't know we had any choices in the AC Delco line. Learn something new every day

This has been a hot subject on the corvetteforum.com All the "U' filters were going to be discontinued but there was so many screams that GM is going to keep going with them. A lot of guys are going with the Mobil1 filter which is similar if not the same. Depends on who you talk to.
