Synth oil and saving gas

Simply put , do you really get more MPG with synth oil as opposed to reg oil ??

If there is it is minimal and you dont ever see it when filling up.

I got an extra 1MPG, but the extra cost over dino did counter it out. the real reason we descided to run syn in my truck is due to its extended idle time on scene and in the winter.

I run Mobil1, but i wouldn't switch to it for gas mileage. I use it for engine protection and increased change intervals.
