Gap Insurance

I told my friend to buy it. But he said he did not need it. They stole his 2004 California Edition Silverado ( only thing different is the wheels ) . Anyways , does he have to pay the remaining balance on his GMAC loan in full or will they still be in monthly payment form ? How long will his insurance take , he said they are giving him the run around ! I told him they may be investigating his claim

I'm not sure if they'll let him pay it out...But that's reason #219 why I always finance through my Credit Union. Gap Insurance is automatic and free.

lol I told him so . GAP ins at the time was 300.00 extra and I think 35 or so a month what a fool

If he finances his new ride they'll probably roll the difference into the new loan. It won't help his payment any but at least he won't have to pull the difference out of his A**.

with the truck being almost two years old it really doesn't make much of a difference. i'm not sure how it works with it being stolen, but what he'll get back from the insurance company will most likely be more than what he owes so he'll be okay. He'll just be S.O.L. for any modifications and stuff unless he can pull some receipts out of his @ss.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE They found his truck. In Compton , the almost near the same place they found my old Oldsmobile Cutlass HAHAHAHA , They strip the s**t out of it. All that was there was the cabin and frame Tranny , Engine gone. Now they must have had a wrecker , with the chain to drop there in a field. Funny he is pissed but I told him that the insurance may try to rebuild it hahahaha BTW it was found this morning .
