Posting Pics

First, post the pic somewhere on the web where you can see it. Either your own personal ISP webspace if you have that, or webphotos.com or somewhere they will allow linking to the picture. Then when posting, click the "image" button and type in (or copy/paste in) the full URL of the picture, which is the path to it's location on the web. (http://whatever the address is/folder if applicable/name of picture in .gif or .jpg format, usually)

If your not sure of the URL, look at the posted picture, right click it and go to "properties" and it will show the URL.

Some of the ISPs and hosting areas don't allow linking, in which case everyone will only see a red X come up instead of a picture so you may have to try a few of them or just try your ISP space to see if it will work. They do this to cut down on bandwidth use on their networks.

Most of the picture posting sites are pretty self explanitory for uploading images, but if you use your ISP webspace, you may need to know the name of the FTP server and use some FTP software like CuteFTP or WS_FTP to get the pics up there. Currently, webphotos.com seems to work for me, since my roadrunner won't allow linking to the 10mb they give us for personal pages.

Hope this helps.
