Denali-"service brake system"

I have a 2003 Denali with about 59000 miles. I bought it used with 55000 on it, and never had a problem. The brakes feel and sound perfectly normal, and the abs is working. I checked the brake fluid and it seems good. The other day I backed out of my driveway, put the truck in drive and I heard a "ding ding ding" noise and looked at the DIC. It said "service brake system" and "stabilittrac disabled" and the brake light came on (not the abs, just the light with the "p" and another symbol to the left of it, and both of those symbols above the word "Brake"). After the ding ding noise went away the light stayed on for about a minute and then it went off and everything went back to normal (as if nothing ever happened). Then about a mile later I stopped at a stop light and this whole process (happened exactly like I explained above) started again. Like the first time, everything went back to "normal" after about a minute after it all started. This happened about 2 more times, and this all happened after I had stopped at a stop light then accelerated (not strongly) away from the light. What could be wrong here?

Sorry for the long post, I was trying to be as descriptive as I could, all replies are welcomed and I certainly thank you all for your time and help. Thanks
