Well I now have 500 miles on my fire red 02  Sliverado LS 5.3 shortbed regular cab, what a nice ride, seems to have all kinds of power, thought I would share my enthusiasm with you all.......

Hillhound, no it's not a 4x4, but I will occasionally use it to tow my Jeep Wrangler (rock crawler). I bought it for a good all around daily driver, errand runner, junk hauler, ect.

What axle ration did you get? 3.73 or 3.42.

I got a 3.73 ltd slip and 1st gear is special. For a truck without a blower.

Congrats, YJ Bill!  I have a Silverado for my daily ride, and the wife has a Jeep ZJ.

Try to break-in the engine like you would want it too run FAST!!!!
