Check Engine Light On

I have an '05 Sierra Z71 extended cab with 5.3 HO. It has about 4900 miles on it so far. I have about 2000 miles on a "Jesse Tune" PCM. Up to this point, the "Jesse Tune" has been great, well worth the money. But, today when I went home for lunch, my "Check Engine" light was on. I tried disconnecting the battery to clear the code, but that didn't work.

Should I try unplugging the PCM to clear the code or just wait to talk with Jesse tomorrow? Part of the reason I am asking is because my truck is going back to the dealer tomorrow for an ongoing door problem being litigated by the BBB. I am concerned with them seeing the light and questioning the PCM change.

By the way, I have not been able to locate anyone locally that can do the crank relearn procedure for me. Could this be the cause of the code?

You must do the relearn process. Any good shop with up to date scanner can do it should take 2-3 minutes and $10-15. You cannot clear codes by unhooking battery on OBD2. I wouldnt take it to dealer for another problem until SES light is off.
