Question about tires bowing in...

As I posted last month, my brother had gotten into a wreck and totalled his 96 Z71. This past friday, he bought a 99 regular cab swb Chevy Z71 with a 6 inch lift on it. This truck has the 2005 17" Chevrolet rims with 37" BFG Mud Terrains. Today we were out in my back yard and he put the truck into 4wd. When he hit the gas, the truck's steering started to feel like it was pulling from side to side so I got out to watch what it was doing. I told him to hit the gas again and when he did, the front tires bowed in at the bottom. What can he do to fix this? Would a stabilizer shock fix it or not? Any help is appreciated.
