Hey guys,I just heard this morning coming to work that Ricky Rudd is calling it quits after this year,Kinda' suprising ain't it? Last I heard he was going to go another year or two.

Yeah, A little surprised.

Something may have happened to him personally to change his mind so quick.

Maybe he was going to loose sponsorship?

 

I wonder if he will continue to drive trucks like DW does?

I heard that he was going to the 2 for one year, so his plans probably changed when Busch was released from his contract a year earlier.

Last I had heard was that he was probably going to retire unless Kurt Busch couldn't get out of his contract with Rousch. If that happened he would drive the #2 car one year then retire. So with Busch getting to move that left Rudd being able to retire.

That's a shame, I always liked Ricky. Maybe he will become an owner so his boy can drive when he's old enough.
