My buddy has this problem on his truck. Has a 350 in it,2500 series and 4WD

Put in a new fuel pump by dropping the tank. It will start when its cold and as soon it warms up it wont start unless you shoot starting fluid in it then it runs again

Sounds like a fuel pressure regulator. Too bad its not a newer truck it would be a lot easier to fix.

where is that at on the truck? Please dont tell me i have to drop the tank again.

I think it is inside the intake maifold, not much better, huh?

By the title off post says 90 model it as tbi motor not a vortec motor. So itwill be on top off the intake.
