You and me both! I was also there inhaling sand, but having fun as well. Thanks to all who have served to keep this country the greatest in the world! Sorry, but I don't have a pic on my computer. It's probably a good thing since it would probably melt down the server.

I agree that we ALL NEED to thank those who served and are servingfor our freedom to do the things we all take for granted. I am d**n PROUD to say I have two younger brothers in the United States Marine Corps. d**n PROUD! They are over there in Afganastan and Iraq, kicking ass and saving our asses. To all of the soldiers out there, THANK YOU! I for one DO appreciate the freedoms we have today. And I have nothing but respect for anyone who served in our military forces. They should have a free ticket as long as they live. It's the least we could do. They risk their's so we could sit on ours. GOD BLESS THE SOLDIERS!!!

Well, here's me, on the right loading AGM-88 HARM's (High-speed Anti Radiation Missiles) on one of our F-16's. :D Spent from Aug 11, 1990 until March 13, 1991 in the sand box during Desert Shield/Storm, and numerous return trips since. More bomb loading pics here.

Proud member of the Air Force here from 1982 - 2003. Yes, did 21 1/2 years as a cop and then communications engineer. Saw lots of things and did a whole lot more that the family will never know about. It was all worth it though, even the combat tours for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Being gone for at least 6 months a year for the last 10 years of my career was hard on the family but we made it through. So much also say a special thanks to the family members who stand there with the military member as well.

Finally thanks to all of you for the kind words. For those who also served I salute you.

Have a great truckin day.

I've never served, but have lots of American pride. Thanks to all, past & present, and your families that have given so much to protect our freedoms and rights.

God Bless!
